What?

Since 1998, the Rozhdestvo Hristovo Foundation has supported women and children in difficult circumstances - single mothers, socially disadvantaged women, immigrants, elderly women, etc.

The atelier of the foundation is the place where ladies learn how to make beautiful souvenirs from natural materials in a friendly environment and are really proud of their work. The community centre also supports them in other ways, providing advice, medicine, food and clothes.

The team is now looking for new volunteers who are interested in learning the skill of felt-making, and:

• make souvenirs alongside the ladies;
• converse with them;
• help in other ways needed, such as sorting donations, cooking and cleaning, or selling products at bazaars.

When?

The atelier is open every weekday from 9:00 to 16:00. If you can come at least once a week, it would be perfect.

Skills needed?

You should be a creative, patient person with an excellent attention to detail.

You should also be a reliable person, committed to helping this project for medium to long term.
