History Union of Fathers in Bulgaria was founded in 2015 by Petar Hristov and Svetoslav Stefanov. Union is a member of the Platform for European Fathers (PEF)) for Bulgaria. The idea of creation is emerging as a result from the situation in the country, namely the lack of any support and understanding from the state to divorced (separated) father. Union of fathers will fight and encourages joint childrearing of the separation of parents (Shared Parenting), and any problems hampered the normal development of the children. Supporting the idea actively is than 3,000 all across the country. Idea Union of fathers in Bulgaria is registered with the clear aim of supporting the Bulgarian parent. Recent years, we notice a trend that Bulgarian man becomes a donor for family, work, relatives and all it surroundings. Our idea is to focus together in one purpose - the husband to fight back from the negative. We will emphasize the problems in marriage, divorce, mental trauma due to separation ofchildren and all the current problems of modern society. We will prove that is not shameful, person to ask for help and more importantly - Bulgarian father to evolve. Our intention To prove the institutions that by their inaction, they not harm us, but our children. To show the public that if not commented a problem, does not mean it does not exist. To prove to the mothers of our children, that we always will be there to help, because no one wants war. To show the children that they have fathers, ready for anything. Тo prove to ourselves that for a change we need action, not words. To prove to men, that after divorce (separation) there is a new beginning. To prove, that Bulgarians can be positive and united.
