What?

This April a 100-strong team of volunteers rolled up their sleeves and managed to clean up the Zlatni Mostove (Golden Bridges) hiking trail on Vitosha in just a few hours - see the heroes in action and get ready for the next episode in October.

Once again, the task is to remove leaf litter from both sides of the 2.5 km trail so that rain water can drain freely and thus prevent the upcoming fall showers from causing serious damage. Bring along your mates, there will be rakes, shovels and fun for everyone.

When and where?

On 22 October, Saturday. Volunteers meet at 10:00 am at "Belite Brezi" Children's Eco-Training Centre (on the main road to Zlatni Mostove, about 1 km after the turn for Kopitoto).

Equipment needed?

Bring a pair of work gloves and put on sports shoes and clothing. Shovels and rakes will be provided by the organizer.

Food?

Bring your own food and a bottle of water.

Transport?

You can reach the location by car or by bus №63.

Age requirements?

If you are under 16 - bring along an adult friend. If you are under 18 - bring a signed declaration of consent by your parent/guardian.

If weather is bad?

The event will be cancelled.
